  3. XBAT - an extensible sound analysis application and MATLAB platform for developing sound analysis tools.
  4. BSound - an interactive environment for experimentation with scientific and engineering data targeted at sound analysis.
  5. Soundruler - an extensive analysis, graphing, and teaching tool for bioacoustics.
  6. Wavesurfer - an Open Source tool for sound visualization and manipulation.
  7. Raven Lite - developed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
  8. ANABAT - a bat call detector.
